Camberley Cricket Club
A lovely location and popular with local clubs and societies, it is easy to see why with its great views from the floor to ceiling height doors lining the room that open in the summer onto the balcony where you can take inspiration for your art or even draw or paint outside. There is lots of free parking and full disabled access making it a wonderful venue for our classes.
St Jude’s Church
The church is built in mid-14th century style with a nave, chancel, transept and tower. Outside, it is of Kentish rag with Bath stone dressing, and internally the walls are of coloured brick with courses of Kentish rag and Bath stone. The font is of Caen stone and stood originally in the entry beneath the tower. Our art classes are being held in the Monsell Room, it’s just off the main church with its own entrance, it has full disabled access and parking. It is a quiet space, with beautiful walls and stunning stained glass windows. It is lovely and cool in summer and cosy in the winter, a beautiful, tranquil space to create beautiful art.
Norden Farm Centre for the Arts
Norden Farm is welcoming to everyone, whether they come to see, to listen, to perform, to participate, to learn, or just to relax and enjoy the lovely buildings. Set in the West of Maidenhead, it is a venue that is easy to access and has plenty of free parking.
Ellesborough stands at the edge of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Coombe Hill memorial and Cymbeline’s Mount are within its boundaries. The hall is a charming place for groups to meet and work, is very peaceful with inspiring views and excellent facilities.
Windsor Racecourse is a stunning venue with a lovely views overlooking the racetrack. Classes are held on non-race days so they are easy to get to, there is free parking, disabled access and the beautiful grounds which we are welcomed to use are inspiring.
Princes Risborough Baptist Church
Hosting classes at the Baptist Church on Bell Street. The classes are held in the upper hall which is a bright and airy. The church has been a fixture of the town for over 300 hundred years, there is a lovely atmosphere in which to create beautiful art. There is plentiful free parking and all the facilities have disabled access.
Wisdom Centre is a beautiful venue with excellent facilities. The Centre is an oasis of calm set amongst lovely gardens and is located in the heart of the small historic market town of Romsey in Hampshire. There is full disabled access, some parking and the creative room where we hold our classes is filled with light.
Hangar Farm Arts Centre
Hanger Farm Arts Centre is located in Totton. An 18th-century converted barn, it offers a beautiful space in the gallery in which we hold our classes. There is a peaceful atmosphere, café where you can buy refreshments, ample parking and full disabled access.
Sonning Golf Club
A truly beautiful and tranquil venue for our Reading classes, the conservatory has wonderful views across the terrace to the golf course. It is an atmospheric space with lots of wonderful natural daylight and superb facilities making this venue a joy to attend (plus there is also lots of free parking).
Waltham St Lawrence
Located in the very picturesque village of Waltham St Lawrence within easy driving distance of Reading, Twyford and Sonning our evening class is being held at the heart of the village in a spacious and convenient venue. There is lots of free parking and a truly wonderful pub opposite where you can retire to discuss your latest creations.
Welwyn Garden City Golf Club
A warm and friendly venue set in undulating parkland. We will be holding our classes at the Welwyn Golf Club which has a beautiful room for our use flooded with natural daylight and overlooking the immaculate course. There is a lovely and comfortable patio area for alfresco drawing when the weather permits. There is abundant free parking, wonderful facilities and full disabled access for our students.
Welwyn The View
Come and create a masterpiece – no experience needed. Art tutor led step by step tuition. You don’t need to know anything about painting prior to showing up. Our art teacher will talk you through everything you need to know, from how to mix paint colours to what sort of brush strokes to use. We provide 100% of your painting supplies, the only thing you need to show up with is a great attitude. It is great fun and if you have never held a paintbrush before then that is OK too. If you want to get creative and paint your own interpretation of the subject, then that is also OK. Art is what you create in your world!
Highfield Park Visitor Centre
Created on the site of two former hospitals and set in over 82 acres of land this newly created park has been crafted for the local residents with nature in mind. It has a woodland area, a pond, a maze and is home to an abundance of wildlife. The visitors centre where our class will be hosted is flooded with daylight with full length windows on both sides to capture the lovely views which embrace the parkland surrounding the building. It is a welcoming space with fully accessible facilities with ample parking.
West Town Farm
A beautiful, organic working farm home to wildlife, an old railway cutting, orchards, stream, meadows and woodland. The Farm works closely with the community on many educational projects and there is a lovely farm shop selling the farm’s organic produce. Our classes are held in the barn which has lots of rustic atmosphere and charm but has excellent facilities. During good weather there are lots of lovely spots to paint and sketch outside. There is parking on site and any disabled parking will be arranged right outside the barn.
Nancy Potter House
The new multi-purpose community hub in Topsham is a contemporary and welcoming space for our art class. As well as housing the new library it has a lovely café area and will be home to numerous local organisations and we are pleased to be one of the first to take advantage of its great facilities.
Ushaw College is a former Catholic seminary near the village of Ushaw Moor. It was founded in 1808 by scholars from the English College, Douai, who had fled France after the French Revolution. Probably one of the world’s greatest collection of Pugin family architecture it is truly remarkably beautiful. Our classes are held in the amazing Refectory and the splendour of the space is only matched by the facilities. With free parking just a step away and disabled access it is an inspiring and truly awesome place for an art class.
Once the home of Katherine Parr and nestled against the backdrop of the beautiful Cotswold Hills, Sudeley Castle & Gardens is steeped in history. With royal connections spanning a thousand years, it has played an important role in the turbulent and changing times of England’s past. It is a dramatic but extremely comfortable place to hold our classes, its stunning architecture and gardens being an inspiring place to learn and create beautiful art.
The Conservative Club
The Conservative Club in Sale in a bright and airy venue with great facilities and lots of parking. It’s easily accessible, has a very lovely view looking out onto the bowling green. It’s a hidden gem, all on one level so it has good access for everyone. A lovely and welcoming venue for our art classes.
Romiley Golf Club
Nestled in the Cheshire greenery the Romiley Golf club is a friendly and beautiful venue. An extremely welcoming place where the management and staff have gone out of their way to make sure that our students enjoy the venue and their lessons there. The facilities are excellent, with lots of parking, disabled access and a lovely café area to find refreshments, Romiley is a venue that will allow our students the space to learn and create beautiful art.
Just a few minutes from the centre of Poynton, Middlewood House is a traditional and delightful venue. The accessible yet rural setting provides a tranquil location for our art classes. Complimenting the pleasing interior are attractive, peaceful grounds including woodland and a pond. The venue has plenty of available parking and is fully accessible. We look forward to welcoming you in this hidden gem.
Clock Barn Hall
Clock Barn Hall, located just outside of Godalming is a beautiful barn that has every modern comfort. It is surrounded by stunning countryside and the room is light and spacious with doors out to the lovely terrace where, in good weather, you can sit and sketch the amazing surroundings. The barn is part of a stables and you can hear the horses whinnying gently to each other. It is tranquil and idyllic, a perfect spot to be creative.
The Electric Theatre
The Electric Theatre is conveniently located in the heart of Guildford. With parking next door it is a vibrant and busy venue. There is always lots going on, a lovely bar area to relax in before or after class to discuss your art work and make friends with your fellow students. It is a quirky building with lots of interesting features. There are stairs at this venue so if you have any mobility problems please let us know at the time of booking.
The Abbey Hotel is a truly lovely venue with beautiful views from every room. Looking out onto the Malvern Hills and the beautiful Priory next door it is an inspiring place to create art. There are wonderful facilities on site with lots of free parking and the friendly staff are delighted to be hosting our classes, we are made very welcome.
